A change to the IEP law?

House Bill 596 has been making a lot of headlines across the state. The legislation, if passed, would change state law dealing with Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Opponents of the bill say the changing of the wording from business days to calendar days could very well cut time parents and advocates have to review these complex documents, and seek advice from other professionals with understanding them.

The hearing on the bill is scheduled for March 8th at 1PM in Annapolis.
